Shiraz
We craft our Night Harvest Shiraz from the grape variety made famous by the Aussies, which also is known as Syrah. This is a rich, full-bodied red with very enticing cherry, berry and vanilla bean aromas, a somewhat meaty texture and luscious blackberry flavors with an intriguing hint of anise. We age it for over a year in seasoned oak barrels, which makes its robust, black-fruit flavors even smoother and more mouthfilling.
Recipe Pairing Suggestion
At the winery, we love to pair our Shiraz with hearty foods like Skewered Lamb with Lavender-Balsamic Syrup, grilled burgers and sausages, pepper steak, barbecued chicken and ribs, and flavorful hard cheeses.
