Merlot
Merlot is America’s most popular red wine, which is perfectly understandable because it offers plenty of rich flavors with a smooth, round texture. Our Night Harvest Merlot is very true to type. It’s plush and full-bodied with layers of rich strawberry and raspberry fruit augmented by subtle notes of spicy oak and roasted coffee. We age the wine for over a year in seasoned oak barrels, which makes its velvety, red-fruit flavors even smoother and more delicious.
Recipe Pairing Suggestion
I love a glass of Night Harvest Merlot with Osso Buco with Dried Plums and Herbs. It’s also great with herb-roasted chicken, burgers, pork chops, veal shanks, lasagna, black olive pizza and flavorful hard cheeses.
